, Indian Startups Struggle To Remain Afloat Amid Virus Breakout, Sheds Jobs

Amid increasing retraction of people moving due to Coronavirus outbreak, startups are experiencing a sharp decline in demand. With high operational costs and low sales, many are struggling to remain afloat to save cash by shedding jobs. Scooter sharing company Bounce, B2B commerce startup Udaan, Hotel aggregator Oyo, taxi app Ola, food delivery platforms such as Zomato and Swiggy all have started to cut down jobs. Many other startups have also stopped hiring.
