With $800 Million & More, Google Pledges to Fight Covid-19

Internet giant Google has announced a slew of measures to fight the coronavirus pandemic including a commitment of $800 million. Google will give $250 million to WHO and more than 100 government agencies worldwide which provide critical information on how to prevent the spread of coronavirus. It has also created a fund of $250 million to help NGOs and financial institutions around the globe to help provide small businesses. Researchers and academic institutions are being offered worth $20 million Google Cloud credits to study therapies, vaccine, make critical data and finding new ways to fight coronavirus. $340 million in Google Ads credits will be made available to all SMBs who’ve had an active Google Ads account over the past year.
