The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has increased five times in the last 15 days, crossing the one-million mark. Around a fifth of the total cases (over 2,00,000) are in the US, according to figures compiled by Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering. Italy and Spain are the other two countries to have reported more than 1,00,000 cases.
